Contrast bath.

Warm (38°C – 40°C):
Warm water dilates the surface blood vessels, skin pores are opened and cleansed. The tension of the skin surface lessens and moisture can be absorbed.

Cold (< 20°C):
Cold showers are refreshing and revitalising. Surface blood vessels and muscles contract. The skin looks firmer and rosier.

Always end a contrast bath with the cold phase!
