Frankfurt/Ratingen. German bathrooms are in need for renovation. There is a great demand for innovative solutions that combine space-economy, comfort and water-saving at an affordable price. Taking these factors into consideration, the proven space-saving concept "Renova No. 1 Comprimo" by Keramag has been expanded with new ceramic objects and storage solutions. Simultaneously the design has been updated. The novelties are two basins with a table, compact corner-basins, matching furniture, an ingenious three-dimensional corner-console with mirror and a new wall-mounted toilet with water-saving technology.

 

The expanded space-saving concept "Renova No. 1 Comprimo" offers much comfort and storage also for small bathrooms. The novelties in the line are two basins with a table, compact corner-basins, matching furniture, an ingenious three-dimensional corner-console with mirror and a wall-mounted toilet which utilizes only 4.5 litres per flush.
The 70 cm wide basins with a table and a depth of 40 cm have a large surface of 31 x 20 cm despite their compactness. The straight edge on both sides of the table top allows the furniture to be fitted into a corner. The basins are complemented by large under-built consoles with a door, a real wood drawer and a glass plate in the open partition as well as lighted mirror elements with two halogen lamps.

 

Also new are two corner-basin units, available on request at 40 cm and 55 cm depth. The larger version can be combined with a spacious basin console thus hiding the siphon with an elegant stainless steel cover. If additional storage is needed, the basin console can be expanded with two side units with glass plates and own suspension, available as an open or closed unit with door. These can also be installed separately in the basin vicinity. The modular furniture-concept, which is available in the three shades white, birch light and metal look, can also be combined individually with the furniture of the "Renova No. 1 Plus" product line.

 

For the completion of a space-saving corner solution an elegant and functional three-dimensional corner console with mirror has been designed, which allows, together with the inner make-up mirror with enlargement effect, a comfortable all-round view. The complete equipment with altogether eight tables, socket, light switch and two halogen lamps offers a neat and convenient storage for useful bathroom utensils.

 

The space-saving line is completed by a newly designed wall-mounted toilet only 48 cm deep, an optimised toilet seat as well as excellent product and flush quality. Here, an innovative water-saving technology, using 4.5 litres as opposed to the usual six or nine litres per flush, has been implemented. This consumption reduction by 50 or 25 percent respectively allows, without any loss of comfort or hygiene, a considerable saving in fresh- and waste-water costs, which have risen rapidly in the last years.

 

The new toilet can also be flushed with six litres - both quantities guaranteeing hygienic cleanliness.

 

The wall-mounted toilet is, like all ceramic objects of the line "Renova No. 1 Comprimo", also available with the easy-to-clean surface "KeraClean" or with the dirt-resistant glazing "KeraTect" at an additional cost.

 

At the fair-presentation of the latest additions on the ISH 2003 in Frankfurt, Keramag was confident regarding the market acceptance. The unique combination of high functionality and attractive design together with the best possible use of space, reduction of water costs and a favourable price-performance-relationship open interesting new application possibilities in particular when refurbishing and modernising small bathrooms in the exclusive residential building sector.
