![]() Expansion of the principle range by quality sanitary ceramics, furniture and accessories / Innovative, integrated look by way of combining ceramic objects and ornamental panels in one range / Extensive accessory range for individual designs
Ratingen. Keramag introduced an improved conceptional development of its successful series “Flow” by Hadi Teherani at the SHK Essen. The complete bathroom series, developed in cooperation with the well-known Hamburg-based architect and product designer, had been launched at the ISH 2005. Last year an attractive comfort bathtub had been added to the range. With “Flow 300” a further extension of this successful range is now realised by adding three more ceramic products and an extensive accessory and furniture programme. With this the “Flow” collection fulfils the highest demands in terms of design and individuality. New in the ceramics range are a 70-cm wash stand, a hand wash basin (50 cm) and a wall-mounted toilet with a particularly small projection.
The three new products visually manage to accentuate the series’ basic concept that sanitary objects emerge organically from the wall. With a long-length skirt the ceramic objects snuggle to the wall in a soft wave line, sitting flush with the wall – in line with the design of the basic range. Since the 30-cm wide skirt also hides the siphon in both wash stand and hand wash basin, thereby rendering a separate half pedestal obsolete, which makes the flowing character of this concept stand out. The toilet’s minimalist design features totally smooth surfaces that are extremely easy to clean. In case of the wash stands a soft transition to the integrally moulded half pedestal ensures easy and hygienic cleaning. The toilet can be combined with the comfortable Flow toilet seat from the existing range, which is optionally available with a soft-closing mechanism that is “as quiet as a whisper”. All ceramic objects are available in “Alpine White” and can optionally also be obtained with the dirt-repellent surface finish “KeraTect”. Hand wash basin and toilet are also extremely suitable for fitting in sophisticated guest toilets in both the private and commercial sector due to their small dimensions and projections. In order to create an integrated as well as novel look for the entire bathroom ambience, the ceramics elements from the “Flow 300” range can be combined not just with standard bathroom furniture, but also with beautiful decorative panels made of high-value, real “Macassar” veneer or white glass, which can optionally also be combined with the comprehensive accessory range. The 30-cm high panels sit flush with the sanitary objects, thereby creating a decorative band throughout the bathroom. They may be fixed directly to the wall or to a mirror tile. In the wash stand area the decorative panels can be fitted with towel holders, chrome hooks, soap dispensers or even an attractive glass vase with chrome holder – all characterised by minimalist design. All accessories feature hidden fixtures and are easy to assemble. A wall shelf with pull-out tray for smallish cosmetic items, which has a chrome screen that corresponds with the accessories, is well-matched to be integrated into this exceptional ensemble. To complement the toilet, a toilet brush holder and a toilet roll holder with room for a spare toilet roll are being offered. The accessory range is rounded off by two mirror elements measuring 50x101 and 101x50 cm, which feature a lit chrome screen that can be fitted both horizontally and vertically. The entire “Flow300” range will be available from June 2008. The ceramic objects and bathroom furniture of the two partial series can – with the exception of the furniture wash stands of “Flow” – be perfectly combined with one another based on their compatible designs and can thus be adjusted to the different requirements of individual users. |
