Frankfurt/Ratingen. Keramag introduced the very attractive countertop washbasins ‘Emani by Antonio Citterio’, at the recent ISH 2005 in Frankfurt. These are single wash units in the upper price range to furnish a superior and luxurious private bathroom environment.
Distinguished by clear forms and lines, this Italian design is very convincing. Trained as an architect, Antonio Citterio is these days one of the leading international product designers. His work is exhibited in the Centre Pompidou in Paris and in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The new countertop washbasins will be available from May 2005 as a rectangular version (70 x 43.4 cm) and as two oval versions (70 x 43.4 and 70 x 53 cm with tap-hole bench). And from September the ceramic objects produced in white (Alpin) will also be available with the unique dirt-repellent glaze ‘KeraTect’. Stylish combinations can be achieved through the use of added table tops or vanity units underneath the basins.
It is planned to expand the range further this year with matching furniture and ceramic objects to form a complete bathroom series.
