Designer concept expanded further / “Emani by Antonio Citterio“ extended to include toilet, bidet and vanity unit / Insert washbasin chosen as one of the “100 new design classics“ / New washbasin countertops available for insert washbasins in the ”500 by Antonio Citterio“ series /

In addition to the new range “Lineo by Antonio Citterio“, at the SHK Essen Keramag also presented enhancements to the existing designer series “Emani by Antonio Citterio“ and “500 by Antonio Citterio“, which have been developed by the Italian designer in collaboration with Sergio Brioschi.

Thus the insert washbasin “Emani by Antonio Citterio“, introduced last year, whose oval version (without a tap hole bench) was chosen by the lifestyle magazine “Schöner Wohnen” as one of the “100 new design classics” of the 21st century, has been extended to provide a complete range for sophisticated tastes with the inclusion of a toilet, bidet and basin cabinet.  The oval (with or without a tap hole bench) or rectangular version available with a large-volume, shallow bowl (70 cm) in pure white can now be combined in pairs with a 180 cm wide, open vanity cabinet of genuine mahogany veneer in which a drawer container has been integrated. Through the interplay of the ceramic elements with the minimalist design of the vanity cabinet and the attractive colour contrast, the washbasin area becomes an artistically creative eyecatcher.

The toilets and bidets newly integrated in the range add to the overall harmonious picture of bathing ambience. In particular the wall-hanging elements with their smooth continuous surfaces and the sloping angle designed to match the washbasin represent pure understatement and thereby add to the clear, pure look of the bathroom. In addition to the wall-hanging version there is also a free-standing set available. Furthermore, the toilet seat is equipped with convenient automatic closing.

An attractive addition is also presented in the additional bathroom furniture programme for the successful “500 by Antonio Citterio” series. Two new washbasin countertops with dimensions of 90 cm x 52 cm x 24 cm are available in the series, each with space for the insert washbasin (with tap hole bench) as well as providing wide shelf space for bath accessories or hand towels. The insert washbasin may be placed either on the right or the left, according to preference, and in combination with a washbasin countertop in “light oak” (genuine oak veneer) it conveys an overall impression of quality.
