Frankfurt/Ratingen. At the ISH 2007 Keramag presented the new series ‘Era’, designed for lovers of a sophisticated ambience in the upmarket private bathroom segment. It is characterized by timeless classical elegance that creates a factual cool atmosphere when interpreted in a contemporary style or – in combination with high-quality furniture – an opulent, sophisticated look.

 

The core pieces of this luxurious programme are its rectangular wash basins (70, 90 and 120 cm) with surrounding profiled edges. An offset in the lower section gives the wash basins a particularly light character. The design corresponds perfectly with the wall-hung and floor-standing WCs – whose seats come with a standard soft-closure mechanism – plus bidets and attractive pedestals. The ceramic objects and affiliated bathroom furniture in rosewood veneered or black lacquer appeal through a strict elegance reminiscent of the luxurious design at the beginning of the 20th century.

In the classical application the 70, 90 and 120 cm wide wash basins can be combined with pedestals or high-quality, closed vanity units. Alternatively, vanity units in rosewood veneered or black lacquer are available for combination with the 90 and 120 cm wide wash basins. The bathroom furniture range is complemented by tall cabinets in two variations. The narrow tall cabinets are also offered either in rosewood veneered or black lacquer. The wider tall cabinet has legs and is avail-able in rosewood veneered. A generously sized acrylic bathtub (180 x 90 cm) with a straight backrest section provides comfortable rest. When combined with a matching WC seat, the black lacquered furniture takes on the appearance of the Art Déco style.

In order to achieve a modern, luxuriously cool interpretation, the 70 cm wash basins can be combined with a chrome plated towel holder. Here the unusual cross design of the frame becomes the focal point.

The product range offers builders and developers the opportunity to create their own interpretation of a classical style. Quality mirror lighting elements that can be harmonized with the respective stylistic directions round off the programme. The dimensions can be selected in correspondence with the wash basin sizes. Of practical add-on use in the 90 and 120 cm wide versions are the swivelling side parts to the right or left, which for example make hairdressing easier, as they al-low sideways views.
